TBT! Fifteen years ago, Eclipse was headed to Tacoma WA. Paul Hansen was already in Washington, so the other five members of Eclipse met together early in the morning to start the twelve hour drive from Logan Utah, to Tacoma. Patrick Rose showed up with a new arrangement that he wanted us to learn, as we drove, and sing the following night. Paul was to sing lead, so we called Paul and had him write down the lyrics so he could memorize them that night. Every two hours (during that twelve hour drive) we would go over the background vocals until we arrived in Tacoma late the night before the show. We just posted a video on our Facebook Page of the first time Eclipse sang this arrangement, which quickly became one of our favorite songs to sing. Happy 4th of July! A fun, long weekend of concerts…and rehearsing new songs for the new gospel album! What a blessing it is to share our love of country and God. Have a great week friends!:)

For anyone expecting the tradition of seeing us at the Sandy Amphitheatre this year, we’re taking a year hiatus and instead are spending more time in the booth working on a new album. That said, we do have a show tomorrow night at the Midvale Amphitheater. It’s a free event. Preshow starts at 6:30 and we’re on around 8:00 PM. Hope to see you there:) See our events page for other upcoming events Click here to see upcoming events! (http://eclipse6.com/wp/performances/)
